Hemp - (Cannabis sativa) is the same species of plant as cannabis but unlike cannabis hemp contains very low levels of delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) Hemp as defined under the 2018 Farm Bill limits the THC content of hemp to no more than 0.3%.
Cannabidiol – Found in the cannabis sativa plant, cannabidiol better known as CBD, is one of the chemical compounds called cannabinoids. It is not psychoactive and therefore does not result in a person getting high.
Tetrahydrocannabinol – also referred to as THC is the primary mind-altering chemical in marijuana found in the resin produced by the leaves and buds primarily of the female cannabis plant. The plant contains over 500 other chemicals including more than 100 compounds that are chemically related called cannabinoids.
